This could be great, but all depends on your writing skill. Whether Jax is innocent or discovers his guilt will be the turning point. Personally, when I invest time in main characters I like to see them rise above the accusations, so I would keep him innocent. Watch/read Silence of the Lambs for a good interview performance. I think it could be one of those twisted thrillers. I rated this purely on the logline. I hope you continue with it.
